In act 2 make sure you have him in your party and go to any location outside of kirkwall, that will trigger a personal quest and later the first romance scene.|||An easy way to befriend Fenris or have a romance with him is to hate all mages when he is in the party. Whenever there is a conversation always say mages need to be controlled and they are the bad guys, 9 out of 10 that will get you some good points with him. If you also want a friendship with Anders i suggest keeping him and Fenris out the party because for Anders you have to love mages.

Dragon age 2 how do i have a freindly relationship with fenris?
i am a female mage and i just completed the misson were i get fenris but no matter what i do i always get 10 rivalry points, can someone tell me how i can have a freindly romance with fenris and how to fill up his rendship meter? (i would also like some tips on the game if its not to much to ask)|||I don't think it is possible to get friendship points in that quest if you are a mage. But you can easily make up for it later. Fenris likes it when you are hard on blood mages, slavers, and send apostates to the circle. If you want to be pro-magic just lie in your dialogue options and don't take him on magic-heavy quests.
