I'm a female rouge and am probably gonna romance him, but I'm curious if you can romance him as a mage. I know he hates mages so I'm curious if it's harder if your a mage or not possible.|||I found it very easy to get Fenris in a friendship romance as a mage. He does comment after you finish his quest to clear Danarius' Mansion that he's a little freaked out by you/Anders/Merrill, but he's willing to work with Hawke.
Take the flirt options, be supportive, take a hard line against slavers, demons and bloodmages, and possibly remove him from the party for some quests if you plan to friend Anders too. You can safely have both of them in the party and gain friendship points if you are rivalling Merrill during her quests, as the only thing Anders and Fenris agree about is that demons + blood-magic = evil. They will be happy with you criticizing Merrill about demons and blood-magic and telling demony things to get lost.
These three do squabble a bit in the party together, however.
If you choose to go the other way, you can completely rival-romance Fenris as well. That was a little harder in his personal quests, since I went out of my way to pi$$ him off by not taking the hard line with slavers. But if you are doing Friendship with Anders, Merrill, or both, it's easy - just keep Fenris in the party for all their personal quests and be supportive of mages, magic is good, lalalala.|||Yes, it is possible to romance him with any class. You just need to push either his friendship or rivalry points to the max. As a mage you will automatically gain some rivalry and there are a few different dialogues, other than that the romance is no different than any other. You can even become his friend if you play right.|||My guess, not possible. By some real good luck, maybe, but I don't think so.
