At the beginning you can have a romance with him,But then he breaks up with you kinda. So if he can have a different romance with another person who would it be.|||Fenris is kinda messed up. He'll come back, and then apologize for having flaked out.
Actually, all the love interests in DA2 are fairly messed up individuals.
We've got Fenris the former tortured slave trying to kill his former torturer/owner. Then we have Anders... where do you *start* with Anders? His on-board demon and his long term vendetta against the circle will become a HUGE problem. Sebastian would be interesting but vow of chastity = no fun.
Then for the guys (or those 'batting for the other team') there's Isabela - I wished there was an option to kill her at the end of Part II or beginning of Part III. Merrill is so sweet, but so ditzy. Yes, let's bring back the killer tainted magic item destroyed by the grey wardens. It will be funner this time!
I wished that my character could have run away with the dwarf. That said, I went with Anders. But damm, that boy has issues.|||As long as you don't flirt with anyone else he will come back in part 3 after you do his final personal quest.
If Fenris is never romanced there is some banter that implies that he and Isabela hooked up. They probalby never had a real relationship though.
