Do I need to replace my Graphics card? I'm having stuttering problems?

So I have a new computer, here are the specs:

HP Pavilion Elite HPE 64-bit

Windows 7 Home edition

HPE-210y

AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 945 Processor 3.00 GHz

8.00 GB of RAM

XFX Nvida Geforce 9600 GSO

I have been experiencing stuttering problems with each of these games:

1. S.T.A.L.K.E.R.:Shadow Of Chernobyl

2. Sims 3

3. Crysis

4. The Witcher

5.Dragon Age Orgins

I dont understand why I would be having these problems when my computer is able to run these games at High settings if not at Maximum settings. My graphics card is all up to date and is patched, but when I look at certain things in the game or maybe after 10 min playing the screen starts to stutter and its if I was playing on a low end computer. Please help?|||This is probably caused by overheating. Once a graphics card overheats, the performance drops like a rock. You might be able to fix it by slapping on a new cooler for you card, but hey, $100 can get you a decent card so I'd recommend buying a new one.|||So you're saying that your computer starts to stutter after 10 mins of playing?

I suspect overheating. possibly of your graphics card.

(Although there is a possibility that your cpu might be the one overheating, i highly doubt it)

I suggest you to just buy a new graphics card. You already got a nice ram and cpu. You got nothing to lose.
